The PF4130 bottom bracket is Press Fit into 41mm diameter shells that are 86.5mm wide and mate most cranks with a 30mm spindle to that standard. If you have a BB86 frame and want to install a 386EVO crank or Rotor 30mm crank, this is the kit you need. CeramicSpeed bearings are installed in cups. The Standard Bearing has ceramic CeramicSpeed balls and hardened-steel races. The Coated Bearing has the same balls running on hardened-steel races with a 3-micron-thick metallic coating making the races harder and smoother, increasing service life and reducing friction. Enjoying the benefit of a massive, strong, and light 30mm crank spindle in your BB86 frame is possible with this kit. The BB30 bottom bracket allows you to pair 30mm spindle cranks to 42mm inner diameter bottom bracket shells. Cannondale pioneered this standard along with specially-designed cranks and many have found the benefits to them. Road versions have a 68mm width, MTB has 73mm. These are also the bearings you can use to replace bearings in PF30 cups. You have two bearing choices. The first choice is our low drag, long life Standard Bearing, with hardened-steel races and our super-round CeramicSpeed balls. The second choice is our Coated Bearing, which uses those same balls installed on coated, hardened-steel races for longer life and less bearing drag. BB90 is the Trek oversized bottom bracket standard and is only found on Trek road bikes. The shell is 90.5mm wide and is designed to work with 24mm spindles and road cranks and have the bearings inside the shell. The CeramicSpeed Bearings come as two bearings, which are then pressed into the frame. Those two bearings consist of either CeramicSpeed Standard or Coated Bearings. Both feature super smooth, super-round CeramicSpeed Balls contained in hardened-steel races. BSA is equivalent to English threading. English threading on MTBs mean a 73mm-wide, 34mm-inside-diameter shell with reverse threading on the drive side. It's the most common threaded standard employed today. This kit works with 24mm diameter cranks, such as Shimano, FSA, Rotor, and others. Choose between two bearing types for the cups. Standard Bearings have low drag thanks to hardened-steel races and our Ceramic balls. Coated Bearings have those same balls installed on coated, hardened-steel races for longer life and less bearing drag. For MTBs, English threading, thanks to history, is pretty much the one threaded standard. BSA is another way of stating English threading. The initialization comes from Birmingham Small Arms, which made bicycles.
